Almighty God, through the witness of the holy martyrs
Pontian and Hippolytus, You reveal the power
of reconciliation and steadfast faith.
Remove every spirit of division from our hearts
and teach us to seek peace before pride.
Help us to forgive as You forgive.
Strengthen us whenever our faith is tested,
and give us the courage to remain faithful
to the Gospel with humility and conviction.
May our lives proclaim the unity that is found
only in Christ our Savior.
