Lord, August reminds me of harvest and provision, and I thank You for being Jehovah Jireh—my Provider. Thank You for supplying not only my daily bread but also my spiritual needs, filling me with Your Word and presence.
Thank You for work, for opportunities, and for the strength to labor. Thank You for times of rest that renew my body and soul. Thank You for answered prayers and even unanswered ones, knowing You provide according to wisdom and not just desire.
Lord, help me to be content with what You give, and to trust that You know what is best for me. Thank You for being faithful in the past, present, and future. I am grateful that Your provision is never late, never lacking, but always perfect.
