Summer begins, and the rhythms of life slow down for many — yet the mission of God continues every day. Christian mission is not confined to pulpits or faraway lands; it happens at the kitchen table, in the classroom, and at the office. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23).
Our daily work is a sacred opportunity to reflect Christ’s love. A teacher who listens, a nurse who prays for her patients, a parent who guides with patience — all participate in God’s redemptive mission. The ordinary becomes holy when done with extraordinary love.
This month, may we rediscover the mission field right before our eyes. Let our words, decisions, and interactions become instruments of grace. The most powerful sermons are often lived, not spoken.
