Announcing the Good News of Christ

Columbans arrived in Peru in 1951 and immediate set up missions to deal with social problems, poverty and widespread disease that impacted many Peruvians. The missionaries live and work  in the outlying areas of Lima in the parishes of San Martín de Porras, Independencia and Naranjal. From Lima, Columbans established a helping presence in Huasahuasi, Tarma - Junín, Samanco, Chimbote - Huaráz, in Combapata, Livitaka and Chamaca in Cusco, and we are in Yanaoca, Canas - Cusco.

Columbans focus their time and attention on meeting the material and spiritual needs of their parishioners.
